Misuse of Class Recipes
Where: netherstorm server
Your toon (rogue) enters a PvP zone and thinking hmmm... a simple paladin that stands in your way. You decided to challenge the paladin. The odds of your success is in your favor, however, with this new Recipe *Book A-Z (level 100) the Sha' tar vendor gives the paladin about 95% chance of winning the duel. The rogue just has a "standard" class training only. paladin has all the spells like grimoire of shadow bolt X, grimoire of immolate VIII, codex of renew X, and tome of polymorph turtle. Plus Paladin has all the RAID buffs too. The paladin wins... rogue says, "What the heck happened"?
I know this server is trying to have fun and spice things up a bit. However, the paladin would comment on global channel "how noob and pathetic you are". If you are a former retail WoW player, and you don't believe that those free recipes shouldn't be allowed unless it's for a specific class. Tell me this, how's that any fair? How that is making a paldin or whatever mana class that takes advantage of it makes them any better than someone doesn't use it at all?
If I were a <Admin>, I'll either make it specific class recipe only or just deleted that vendor PERIOD!
I believe on honor and honest system, do you?
