Someone here is an Ayn Rand fan. You get +rep from me for that.
Arsenik and I have both been tied up with finals. We've been getting things ready for some big updates and fixes the next week or so but have been limited by work, school and time constraints. My finals are done and Arsenik is closing in on being done.
The scratch card system is almost restored, we expect to roll it back out this weekend. The token vendors is next in line, we're shooting for this weekend as well. I implemented the fix for the recipes, and we brought up the test realm for FLINT to see if there's anything we can scrape from there for you guys to enjoy.
2.4 has been a mess. If you follow the emulation community at all, Ascent has gone under, NCDB (our database provider) has gone under and new projects are just starting to rise up from the ashes. OpenAscent will be continuing work on the emulator and there's rumors that NCDB is going to re-surface within a week or two with a complete 2.4 database.
As for the re-opening, there was a mis-communication about what was going to be implemented for the launch. It resulted in nothing being done. I'll be remedying that this weekend and spending a few hours each day/night on and talking to the users, as well as moving forward with my original idea for the hardcore SB players.

The Internet is based on a layered, end-to-end model that allows people at each level of the network to innovate free of any central control. By placing intelligence at the edges rather than control in the middle of the network, the Internet has created a platform for innovation. ~Vinton Cerf
