Two things. One, when someone appears to someone in a raid that they don't belong to, they get in trouble for that. its an easy screen of them. Two, this could still be ruined by immature players as you said, but if they appear in. they can get in trouble, and also ,if there not registerd they get no reward. but i thought of something else. i also seen this done on lineage2.
Like the last part about porting players to an unused area.
You port in everyone is on the same team. you have 2 min to group up. You all group up, and the event starts. Doors open to let you into the first room, where you have to kill a boss mob, and his minnions. in a certin time frame! you get it done, you go on to the next room. where as its not so much as power, but luck, where you have large egg sacks (or whatever, something that wont atack), they take a little bit to kill. but you have to kill 4 out of the 12 in the room to move on to the next room. within a time frame again. they will be random everytime. the 3rd room, can be a larger room with a maze of sorts, with over powerd hunter traps. i forget the other rooms but. it was pretty fun. and you get the idea
