As I was one of the original battle masters I think I am best suited to clear this one up.

The battle master position in theory sounds like a great job but in reality it's a very tough and time consuming position, not only does it take a lot of time to organize an event in advance but it also takes a lot of time and patience to run on the day.

Most of the battle masters realized pretty quickly that they couldn't afford the time because of issues in the real world, To Cris & Styx's credit they both did a wonderful job as battle masters but unfortunately they were unable to commit themselves to the position because of illness.

Then off cause there was one who decided to take the piss and abused the position not only in making demands to the server owners for items that he was not entitled to, but also by using the kill command on bosses then summoning his friends to loot them, there was also other issues in which this person overstepped the line but I won't go into those.

So in the end I was the only battle master remaining as I had already taken on most of the GM duties, it was decided just to make me a full GM and then do away with the battle masters for now.

As you all know i still try my best to run as many events as I can and hope to remain doing so for as long as i can, with the shake up of the server GM team happening soon I hope to persuade some of the other GMs to hold some events from time to time (winks at Ptoner)

So there you go thats the end of the story, and they all lived happy ever after.
