Why aren't Voter Weapons allowed?

That's fine and good Syn, but the vendor wasn't the issue, the weapons are. I'm talking about people who already had the weapons. If you didn't want the weapons on the server, why didn't you go and delete them with the vendor?

You don't owe us anything? If what you're saying is true, you owe the people who play on this server everything. The service you provide is, in all actuality, hardly free, and the way you make it sound, the people of the server voting is the only thing keeping you afloat.

And I still don't like that the vendor will be restored when we "start voting". A lot of people vote now, and according to you, you're breaking even. I've seen it happen before on servers, it'll end up where you'll tell us that you'll add new content of a patch, that is, if we get enough votes to get the server into the top 10.

Now don't get me wrong I do appreciate what you guys are doing, very much so in fact, and from my experience the GMs here are at the very least friendly and good sports in game. But if that was the case, where the vendor was a test and the weapons were not supposed to exist, why didn't you just tell us that in the first place? I'm sure everyone would have understood if you would have just brought it up, and as Diab said, perhaps said that they would be brought back in the future, or maybe a new PvP style system might be implemented.

But the reality of the situation not only creates a slippery slope, but seems very unfair in general. It's not such a big deal that I'd quit playing the server over it, but at least, there should be something put into place, if you do want more votes, to reward players with something that do vote, that's not something you took away, and once they vote, they can get back.

The weapons are currently deleted from ALL players who had them. They are taken away from the database, and will be added back when Syn finds it okay.

NOBODY has the voting weapons anymore. Not possible.

And of course he doesn't owe you anything.
He doesn't play. He pays, which we are all greatful for.
You owe him for giving you a server to play on for free, not having to play for months to get gear and high level. He doesn't owe - we do.

The Voting Vendor isn't being held back until voting increases. What ever gave you that thought? The voting vendor and items are being tweaked so we can rework the vote popup and reward Netherstorm players with tokens so they can buy the weapons based on their voting totals.

And we don't hold back on patches, new game content or whatever. You can ask anybody who's been playing here for months - when new content and patches are released, we update as fast as possible, REGARDLESS of our vote rank.

Thank you Syn, that's all I needed to hear. Vizion was the one sitting here saying that if voting goes up maybe they'll be re-released. What you said makes more sense. I appreciate you taking the time to come talk about it.

Thank you. This is good news. It will level the playing field, and make it more fair towards those that take the time to vote.
