Reinstall, and is it like BSOD or like just an error box? or critical error, got to give people more information if you want your problem fixed.

Hello all. I wanted to give you all detailed information as to what I did to fix the error. First, I must specify the following.
- I have a Dell Inspiron laptop (e1505). It is Centrino Duo with 1g ram.
- I was running Windows XP HOME, with all the drivers pre-installed from Dell.
- I had a 70 gig laptop that ran out of room, and ran the game perfectly wonderfully.
- I purchased a new hard drive, SAME manufacturer, but more room.

Okay, so now you know my last hard drive ran WoW perfectly wonderfully before I replaced the harddrive. I then loaded Windows XP PRO, and experienced the error. I had NOT YET loaded any drivers, but I HAD loaded the service packs. I had JUST loaded WoW though, and did not restart . So, experiencing the error, I went to Dell and downloaded these drivers:
-Bios Update
-Video Driver
-Sound Driver
-Chipset Driver

I immediately installed all of them, starting with Bios, then chipset, then Sound and Video. Upon loading these drivers, I restarted the computer, then loaded up WoW.
It worked. I could now load the game. So, now to determine WHICH driver did it:
-It was most definitely not the sound driver. Why? Because my sound still does not work. I did not download the correct driver.
-It was most definitely not the Video driver. Why? Because a few months ago well before this new hard drive, I downloaded the EXACT same driver to update my onboard video. The game worked fine before and after I installed the driver. This driver could not have been the fix.

Therefore, it was most definitely the Bios update or the Chipset driver. Now, let me rule out one partially. I do not believe it was the chipset driver. Why? Because only two days ago, when we first started this mess (I have reloaded the OS twice now, thinking the problem to be a bad install of Windows XP), a friend had downloaded the EXACT same chipset driver and installed it prior to me even loading World of Warcraft onto it a few days ago (I have done it twice now).

Therefore, the fix seems to be the BIOS flash. Try it and see if it helps you. Another culprit I have heard being accused: the RAM.
WRONG.
I have the same RAM as I did a month ago, only difference in my computer is the Hard Drive. Don't go lowering the RAM's voltage as i've heard of someone else doing - that could be damaging.

Just make sure you have the EXACT right drivers and it hopefully will fix your problem like it did mine. Good luck all!
Got this from the official WoW forums. Try it. This is a log about what the person on that forum did to fix it.
