Deka Breaking 2 Rules

I was in Gurubashi Arena at the vendors when I was attacked by Deka, not a big deal. Deka gouge stealthed a good 3-4 times. I told him I would report him if he did it again so I didnt manage to get a screen of that.
I tried looking at my combat log, but it doesnt work for some reason. Each time I killed him, he used .r p guru to rez. I also told him not to do that. He stated "I did not know the rules". This excuse is imo unacceptable, as the rules are clearly posted on the forums. If I break laws in my country, I can't get off without punishment just because I didn't know, can I?

Heres some screens showing the time it took him to return to corpse after death, I spammed healing spell to show my mana drain during the time period.

Too the best of my knowledge, there is no rule aginst recalling to your body. Now if he appeared to you that is a diffrent story.

using .recall/.appear for pvp advantage IS against the rules:

However.. I fail to see how recalling to a location to be resurected adjacent to your corpse is an advantage.

Agreed a rogue can stealth and heal but surely the "other" player has as much time to heal...

Anyway, just to reiterate...

The use of .recall/appear to gain ANY PvP advantage IS against the rules as that function is meant for fast travel around the game only.

ok, so basically - you cannot .appear to a player to get to your corpse quicker. You can however appear to a location. ie guru arena to get to your corpse quicker - its not like you retrieve your corpse and get instant full health because you have .appear meaning you have as much time as the other player to revive to full health - NOT MORE.

basically deka retrieving his corpse by .recalling to guru has not put him at any more advantage than anyone without .appear.

Ok, first off She never once said i didn't know the rule secondly when she ressed if you check she did'nt engage you you engaged her as for gouge stealth she admit to this but to the best of my knowledge gouge stealth is allowed unless in event. if i am wrong i suggest put this in writing it's not aloud as a lot of rouges do it all i feel is if i do it bad sportsmanship ok i say that you may be male but my wife was having fun so there was no involvement form me coz if it was me you would have had a fare fight you can ask almost everyone

Flint, don't u see the connection? lemme give u an example. pang goes around in IF and kills me after a duel. i rez and kill her. after the kill i said brb to my party and began to log out, she killed me before that logout was done, isn't that abusing recall?

Palapwn is right about Deka, he often uses the gouge-stealth bug, especially last in duels where his out of other ways to stealth. not that its bad, if ur under press in a fight u'll do literally everything to survive, but still, it's cheating, so watch it

and i know its not the right thread, but since im not a veteran yet i'll post it here: couldn't we PLEASE make pvp'ing in major cities illegal? its getting annoying to get killed by 5-7 donors each time u duel or just forgot to turn of pvp? especially pang is evil at doing that, comming right after duels and kills me... last time she got pissed at me for taking revenge... again i have the feeling that most horde appear to each other to get there. its annoying to get ganked and i pretty sure the most of em appear to each other to get to IF, and its against the rules to appear to other players and then engage in pvp, isn't it?

Yeh Vem, that's a nightmare... I once dueled a shaman and I lost, and even tho I had told him not to kill him ( and he said ok ) He just used Lighting Bolt to finish me off. I could have used Spell Reflect to live, but guess what? It doesn't work...
