new player HELP ME!!!

im just trying the game for the first time and im having troubles already. it wont let me log in.!!!help?

Go to your WoW folder, open the file called "Reamlist.wtf" with Notepad, and change the realmlist to "Set realmlist warcraftmmo.com"

ive tried that and it still wont let me... then i found one where it says to change it to
"SET REALMLIST = WARCRAFTMMO.COM" so i tried that one too and it didnt work either

1. make an account

2. delete everything in your realmlist.wtf or type a "#" in front of the lines, which aren´t needed atm.
then paste the following in a new line:
set realmlist WARCRAFTMMO.COM

save and exit realmlist.wtf.

3. wait a few minutes and log in with your account

another problem could be that you have to patch to 2.4.

to patch your wow, edit the realmlist as it was before. if you have EU version change realmlist to
set realmlist eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
set patchlist eu.version.worldofwarcraft.com

if US:
set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com

save and exit.

then start wow and just type anything for name and password.
wow will start the updates, if necessary
