Server Rules - UPDATED 01/08/2008

By logging into the WaMMO game servers, you agree to these rules. Whether you read them or not. Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse.


1. Appear and Recall.

1.1 Appear and Recall is NOT to be used to escape PvP nor is it to be used to appear to someone with the intention of PvP (either a member of the opposite Faction or a friend to help him)
1.2 appearing to anyone without permission is not allowed.
1.3 appearing to a GM is especially against the rules. Same with whispering GM's only whisper a GM if they have whispered you first and need a reply.

2. GM Island.

2.1 GM island is a place of tranquil people and a place for us GM's to help and aid people and discuss the server, think of it as our office, and as such, PvP is not tolerated on GM Island.

3. Hacking/exploiting.

3.1 Hacking and using of third party programs will result in a full permanant server and site ban.
3.2 Bug exploiting (including but not limited to, bug exploiting, stacking unstackable spells (mounts) ) will result in a server and site ban.

4. Player/staff Abuse.

4.1 Rasicm, discrimination, sexist remarks in World chat or in whispers are not tolerated in any shape or form. You will be banned.
4.2 Do not attack staff members when on GM/BM chars. We are here to aid the server, please show a mark of respect.

5. LFG and Open Chat.

5.1 Cursing in LFG/open chats will result in a kick, mute and follwed by a temp ban for repeated offences.
5.2 Begging will not be tolerated, esp towards a staff member for items, gold or levels.
5.3 Spamming will not be tolerated.
5.4 English only in LFG.
5.5 Chat associated Exploits, I.E. Images, Colours, ect, is not allowed and is a muteable/bannable offence.

6. Advertising.

6.1 Advertising other servers will result in a ban, no questions asked. Out the door... never to be seen again, fed to the hungry monkeys, etc etc you get the picture.

7. General Combat.

7.1 Alt F4'ing out of PvP will not be tolerated.
7.2 No PvPing on the WaMMO carpet.
7.3 No using skills that don't flag you for pvp, but should. I.E. Hunter Traps, Spellsteal. This is classed as bug abuse.
7.4 No casting, shooting, of any kind "THROUGH" walls or objects that render you invisible to the opponent.
7.5 Although not strictly combat "Corpse Ressing" to move around the map, (ie. into Sunwell b4 the portal was fixed) is illegal. those caught doing it will be punished in the correct way.

8. Multiboxing.

8.1 No multiboxing of any kind. Dual boxing is allowed, but multiboxing isn't due to the fact that you are using a bot. Anyone caught multiboxing will be treated the exact same as a hacker and get an immediate ban. for an example of this please follow this guide...

Multi boxing is the use of multiple accounts logged on at once while using a bot program to use them all at the exact same time.
Dual boxing is the use of multiple accounts logged on at once but not being played at the same time. I.E. You switch manually from window to window to do things on each char logged on individually.

9. Dealing with complaints.

9.1 If you feel you have been unfairly treated or unfairly given a mute/ban, please post on the forums in a polite and informative manner. ggetting on another account to swear and curse ingame or on the forum will not be tolerated.

10. Tickets System.

10.1 If your ticket is deleted don't make a new one asking for the same thing when you know you can't have it. I.E. Ports to places, Revives when your not bugged.
10.2 Don't use all caps when making tickets, and try to use as fluent of English as possible.
10.3 Don't make useless tickets that don't relate to problems. I.E. "Hey im bored lets talk"

11. the captain Rule.

11.1 Respect all other players and staff members, Play fair and have fun.
