I need some Help here please.

I was a netherstorm player about a month or so ago, and Ive just tried logging on to look at my characters and none of my accounts work, have they been deleted along with my characters? I just wanted to know :D

EDIT: Oops I just read the "Attention" at the top of the page, Can I get any of my old characters back cause I had a GREAT gear setup that Ive forgotten and wouldnt mind getting back *cries*

All Netherstorm accounts were deleted in the core/database updsate last week, you will need to remake an account and your characters if you wish to play on Netherstorm again.

Ascent Servers Back Up

All you will have to do is visit that link and make a new account. Your new account will work for both servers, as they are now the same realmlist. Just for your notification: Netherstorm has changed malls and other things, so old buggs are cleared out, atleast most of them. Don't panic to see new people Allso, if you want, you can allso play on Shadowburn. It is now the same realmlist, and it is not hard to acess, as it is the same account.
Just remember to SET REALMLIST 67.225.136.214

I don't think there's a way to get your characters back either. I'm pretty sure they completely wiped the DB, and I doubt even if they had it that they would put it back up so that they could give you your gear setup.

No the characters were wiped along with everything..its not that hard to get your character back up and running though!

unless you had some real weird build that is like a once in a lifetime, never happen again type of thing...........guess you could always try though!!

The server (Atleast netherstorm) recieved a whole new core, together with a whole new database. No, you can NOT recieve your old characters back, by any means.

You are free to play on the server, and have whatever items you may find in the.... more than 35 (i believe) vendors which can be found in each of the malls.
If you are wondering where the so-called "Voting" reward vendor went, the core was changed again, and it is now gone. It will not (Most likely) be added back.
While you watch this - do not forget to vote.

Will there ever be rewards for say, getting WaMMO in the top 10?

I really hope it doesn't get too popular because it seems like the quality of the server almost always goes down as do the donations as the server gets mor popular. $290 as it says on the front page is actually the most I've seen donated on a private server, and I think the majority is coming from Shadowburn because it's so well scripted and there's so little lag, etc.
