Actually the technology isnt that far off. There are already nanobased LCD style screens that are as thin as a sheet of paper. The downside is that they are really expensive. There is one company, I saw on a TV show I was watching that is trying to find a way to make them affordable and market them to the newspaper industry, so some one can have one and walk up to a newstand pick thier paper, and it will digitally download to the screen for reading thus eliminating the need for paper. They have made a nano memory chip that will hold up to 1gb of memory and is just as thin, so it would easily hold any PDF file for viewing. If someone has time they might look this up. Also there is a self healing armor developed for military use, although they are over 1 million US dollars to make, i'd much rather see them buy armor to protect the soldiers than another jet that will never see a warzone in the near future.
A side note: That phone has nano grass, does that mean well have to buy nano lawn mowers...lol
